Structural Waterproofing

Structures and buildings which have elements below ground level can require protection to ensure they are not adversely affected by water ingress. There are a variety of methods to provide such protection, these are detailed in the code of practice document British Standard BS8102: 2022. This document contains both recommendations and guidance in relation to the ‘protection’ of below ground structures against water ingress.
