THE PROJECT

Several new lift pits and associated entrance areas, that are being built to provide improved disabled access to a major sports facility in Manchester.

THE GROUND GAS & WATERPROOING PROTECTION SYSTEM

This development required a suitable design, supply and installation of a combined waterproofing and gas membrane system. PRS and Visqueen Technical, worked with the main contractor to produce a specification.

Over 600m2 of Visqueen Geoseal was used in the lift pits, base and surrounding ground beams. Along with Visqueen Gas Resistant Self Adhesive Membrane, Visqueen Detailing Strip & Pile Cap Sealer etc to complete the system.

A very challenging and complex job from start to finish.
